Toki Tako Puts a Korean Twist on Tex-Mex


It’s hard to go wrong with a taco but sometimes you want something besides typical Tex-Mex flavors or the version you whip up with a grocery store kit at home. That’s undoubtedly part of why Toki Tako, a new restaurant in Baltimore, has quickly become a favorite of so many locals. 

Inspired by Korean barbecue, Toki Tako offers tacos and ssam with Asian flavors that will inspire you to celebrate Taco Tuesday differently this week. Try the samgyupsal or bossam takos, featuring different takes on pork belly, or the se songyi beoseot tako, filled with king oyster mushroom and other toppings. Or, try the same flavors in ssam, or lettuce wraps, for a lighter version of the same delicious creations.
