Now Open Near Woodfall Greens: El Guapo

01.18.2021

Have you ever tried a Mexican flatbread? How about chicken al pastor skewers or elotes soup? Now that El Guapo has opened nearby, you can taste all of these unique Mexican fusion dishes and many more—not to mention a huge roster of classic Mexican plates, if that’s what you’re craving.

Sit down for limited indoor dining or grab your grub to-go at El Guapo. The handcrafted masa flatbread features layers of refried black beans, crumbled chorizo, salsa verde, fried avocado, lettuce, and a drizzle of queso and lime crema. The al pastor skewers showcase crispy chicken chicharron with sweet-smoky chunks of grilled pineapple and queso Oaxaca, all perched atop a bed of cauliflower rice and roasted sweet potatoes. The sopa elote emulates the street food corn on the cob for which it’s named, just in a creamy bowl of broth with queso, cilantro, and diced jalapeno on top. And if none of these dishes entice your taste buds, try classic tacos, fajitas, or tortas instead.
