Take a Tour of Sagamore Spirit Distillery

Baltimore whiskey aficionados may already know that Sagamore Spirit Distillery is one of the region’s most celebrated local producers, having recently won the 2019 gold medal for its rye whiskey at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. The distillery is open for both tours and tastings Tuesdays through Saturdays, and while drop-ins are welcome, Yelp reviewers recommend making a reservation ahead of time to ensure your spot on the tour. While you’re here, you’ll learn about the process of whiskey making, see the distillery’s 40-foot copper still (with a brilliant mirror finish), and sample a flight of top-shelf whiskies that were all produced on-site.
